KISCO Senior Living Communities Celebrate at Drake Terrace. Scheduled Monday, September 20 through Sunday, September 26, 2010 Active Aging Week is organized by the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA), an association that supports professionals who develop wellness and fitness facilities and services for adults over 50. The annual health promotion celebrates individuals who live life as fully as possible within the six dimensions of wellness (physical, spiritual, cognitive/intellectual, social, emotional, professional/vocational/environmental) and embrace active-aging their daily life.
At Drake Terrace located at 275 Los Ranchitos Road, activities include:
9/20 Tea & Talk - Later in Life Passions;
9/21 Stars Over Hollywood Entertainers;
9/22 - Author Book Signing with Bob Danzinger;
9/23 - Mr. Toad's Tour of San Francisco and Long Term Care Insurance Presentation;
9/24 - Writing Class: Memoirs and Short Stories from our Residents;
9/25 - Trivial Pursuit; and 9/26 - Family Day with Ping Pong and Root Beer Floats.
